Wake Tech Community College is now offering a new scholarship endowment thanks to Will and Summer Smith, designed to support students pursuing an Associate in Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education. The Smith Family Scholarship Endowment, a gift of $37,500, will provide one scholarship annually to assist Wake Tech students preparing for careers in the classroom. As Will Smith noted, “education is important to our family,” and with this commitment he, his wife, and their children are helping reduce financial burdens for future teachers in our community.
